Hey Guys,

Just got the Full Circle Cd. This is a fantastic live album. My brother, best friend and I have been fans of Little River Band since we first heard Lonesome Loser back in school.I have been a fan of every incarnation of the band, but I think you were at the best when you three were involved. It's good to see and hear that you came back together,at least for this tour.Hopefully, you will think about making more studio albums together and possibly reuniting with other band members such as Wayne and Steve.I would like to know if you are planning to tour in the U.S. It would be graet to see you guys again.

Your Feedback:

Hi there from NZ.
Just wondering if there has been any decision
on whether the planned tour of NZ has been rescheduled.
I know it was because of a mess up in the cd and dvd release,as Paul sent an e mail explainng this.
But he also said there was a chance the tour might still
happen at a later date.
It would be nice to know if there is anything concrete on this as I was bitterly disappointed, after the initial
cancellation

cheers Brett

Great DVD, Great Live show, Great new music. Soaring harmonies, excitement and a great band. I only hope the music company promotes the new songs as well as the classics. I remember playing a few songs with Simon Hosford at Ron's place when he was twelve. Good vocals but brilliant on Guitar. The three of you should be proud of your place in Australian Music. Keep the new writing going strong. Rob

Hello BSG,

I keep patiently (hard as it is!) checking into the website for some news about touring in the States this year. Trying not to be too redundant; however, miss you guys, have big plans to see you wherever you roam in the U.S. this year, doing whatever it takes, but must have some forewarning! I am sure I speak for others that a brief update would be greatly appreciated!! Take Care, Kris

Hello again! I recieved the Full Circle DVD as a Christmas gift and it has not spent much time in its case! Listening to each song is like being reunited with an old and dear friend and the music just takes you away! The haunting sound of Mistress of Mine is a favourite although it seems unfair to pick one as all the songs are favourites! I'm pleased to say my Children (Aged 5 & 2) love the music as much as I do and I hope it remains as special to them as it does to me. Looking forward to your next performance in Melbourne but in the mean time the DVD will be well used!

Many thanks!

Your Feedback:

Hello and greetings from Germany.
FULL CIRCLE is one of the best Live DVD`s I have ever heard and seen.
The outstanding vocals of Beeb,Graham and Glen climbing up the highest levels.
Absolut crazy. On Lonesome Looser BSG sings a half tone higher.
The Band is also fantastic. Dorian West plays his trumpet like Miles Davis.
Alejandro Vega is the best percussion player on this planet.
Also we have Jason Vorherr with his funky Steely Dan bass sound and Dave Beck who plays like the legendary Steve Gadd on his drums.
His Drum Battle with Alejandro on Engine Room is not of this world. WOW !
And last but not least we have Simon Hosford. He plays the original LRB guitar phrases.
I think he was born during a LRB Live Concert.
And we have extraordinary great new songs like Deep Water.
FULL CIRCLE is great music performed by great musicians. Handmade music at his best. I hope i see you on stage in Germany one time and Full Circle will be released in Germany as soon as possible.

Hi all,

AFter a lifetime brought up on your music, and with my mother running the fan club for a number of years, plus me going to concerts with her since I was 4, it was with pleasure I saw the show at Her Majesty's in October. I have the DVD, but I truly believe the Adelaide show was better than the Melbourne DVD performance. It has been a huge thrill to hear your harmonies, songs and watching the most natural interaction between the three of you than has been apparent for some time. Your songs continue to inspire me and uplift me (I so much want to have Reminiscing as a wedding waltz for my nupitals in March 2005 - 14 months to convince my non believing fiancee!) and I truly, sincerely believe some of your material is the best to come out of Australia. Thank you so much for bringing so much joy to my life - while it may not be fashionable for a 30 year old to love your music as much as I do, I am very proud to consider myself a fan of Little River Band (which you will always be to the true fans).

Your Feedback:

Yes the DVD is supposed to be like that. It's technically mixed 5.0 which is how a lot of music disks are done because so many people's home systems are not set up correctly. It greatly increases the number of homes where the DVD will sound most like the way it was mixed.

As to your subwoofer going to sleep, that would be because you don't have the bass management features of your receiver active. This feature is often also called "bass redirection." Unless your other speakers are capable of deep, full bass you would be best advised to use bass management which will "steal" the deep sounds that are going to your 5 speakers and send them to the subwoofer instead. Most people's systems do this by default and this is why most people wouldn't even know that the actual LFE channel isn't working.

Firstly,
the DVD is great... however it is supposed to be dolby digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1! I have a fairly large collection of DTS music to compare with, and, this one alone seems to be missing the bass channel (the .1 part) in both DTS and DD! My sub goes to sleep when BSG is on. Did I get a dud copy or are they all like that?

I've been an LRB fan for a few decades. I saw what purported to be LRB in Niagara Falls this past summer. I was rather surprised to find out that none of the original members of the band were in that line-up. With all due respect to their musicianship, it just ain't the same! So when I found out about the BSG DVD, I headed straight to HMV Australia and snapped up a signed copy. What a thrill ride! Pleeeeeeeeease plan a trip across the water and play Toronto. I'd make the two-hour trip in a heartbeat.
A bunch of us docs are staging a "talent show" at our hospital--I chose Cool Change--I hope I don't butcher it too badly!
I know this is wishing for a lot, but a reunion concert with David (I think his guitar work on Backstage Pass was absolutely outstanding), Derek and George, what I consider to be the quintessential line-up, would be absolutely brilliant.
Keep on making great music.

Hi guys, firstly can I just say how gutted I am the NZ
tour was cancelled.
I think I must have been on of the first people in NZ to purchase tickets, and along with my partner were going to your Auckland show.
I was so excited about the show and the possibility of meeting you.
I would love to know why the tour was suddenly cancelled, as no reason was given, and also are the any plans to reschedule.
I do have the DVD and the CD. so at least that's some consolation.
Also I am right that you have signed a six album deal with Universal.
And if so when can we expect the first installment.
Anyway guys thanks for recreating the magic, and please try and get to NZ.

ps It's A Long Way There is my favorite song, and Simon's gutair solo rocks.

Don't know where to start so I will go backwards. Just saw you whilst on holidays at Twin Towns. Actually came away early to see you guys. Also caught you in April at Castle Hill. Have followed LRB music right through the years. Have seen all Glenn's shows at Kinsella's way back. When watching "This Is Your Life" recently (which was put together so well) reminded me of the days at Kinsella's. And for me it all started when I was 15 and would get tickets to Channel 7 studios for my school friends to see Thorpe's show "Its All Happening" and there was Glenn with his "Twilights" singing Needle in a Haystack. Those were the days.

If you guys do go to the States, don't be there long, we need you back in Oz and touring cause I'm not finished with seeing you yet!

WE NEED TO GET THE WORD OUT! BSG ... ASAP! As a longtime fan of your former work, "excited" hardly captures my emotion about the news of Birtles, Shorrock and Goble reuniting! I live the Pacific Northwest in the USA and for some reason, the last 10-15 years has seen LRB bookings falling off to cramped local bars and cheezy casinos. When the BSG members were with LRB, they had a HUGE Seattle-area following ... still play my "Backstage Pass" recording constantly, recorded in Seattle: "Oh, Seattle ... You know I care for you! It ain't a wonder ..." And now it's perfect that the BSG tour is called "Full Circle." From the first time I heard that song, I've always thought it was special, and now it TOTALLY applies! PLEASE be sure to schedule at least one stop in Seattle when you come to the USA ... and if you are looking to employ a hard-core supporter, PLEASE drop me a line BSG!

Well....after growing up in a little town of ST.LEONARDS, not far from Geelong, which is not far from LITTLE RIVER, the BSG revival is like a bolt from the blue.

I'm only 24...however my father was a massive LRB fan, and I had no choice but to listen as a child.

To this day I still consider "Help is on its way" to be the song between my dad and I "somewhere deep inside me is a man".

I saw Beeb, Glenn and Graeham in concert at the forum in July, and spent the night basically in tears...

To hear the classics brought a tear to my eye...20 years after first hearing LRB on the best of album (the one with Glenn showing off in front of a massive Calder Park crowd...GS actually corrected me on this during a visit to 2TM during the 2001 Tamworth Country Music Festival...I though the concert was in the US)

Guys, great to have you back...but please one night, could you please get derek back on drums...just for old times sake!!!

We saw your show last night in Brisbane. It wasn't actually just a concert. It was a musical extravaganza! The band has taken on a real exotic flavour with the different instruments and sounds. Also bought the DVD. It will probably get worn out real soon if it sounds and looks as good as last night's show.Haven't seen you here since
Expo 88, so don't leave it another 15 years to come back!

Thankyou so much for a wonderful concert at Newcastle last week. And for signing posters and cd covers afterwards and chewing a bit of fat!! I saw that 'other' band in NZ in January and there is very little comparison. You guys ARE LRB. I am grateful for the time you took to talk with us and even more grateful for the wonderful harmonies you effortlessly sing and the timeless hits. I wish you every success with the forthcoming tours and our paths will definitely cross again.

Your Feedback:

I bought my first LRB record in the 70s and have been a huge fan ever since so when I heard there was a new live album out I was a bit apprehensive about buying it. I didn't think the voices could sound as good with age and I didn't want a dud to spoil my long held respect and admiration. Fortunately, when I bought the CD I was more than pleasantly surprised. The first two tracks gave me the shivers, and that's always a good sign! The voices still have that old magic and the young musicians are fantastic. Their new instrumental solos enhance the old favourite songs. I was particularly pleased to hear Beeb's "Every day of my life" again. I had forgotten that one and it's now my favourite on the CD - just love his voice and age hasn't diminished it. So, good on you guys - a bold move but it paid off. I can see myself playing your records/CDs for another 25 or so years. With such great songs, the magic never wears out.

Hi guys, I have been a great fan of your music since the seventies and have attended a couple of your concerts here in NZ over the years. I have a lot of your music on vinyl. A small query if I could please. I see you have released a couple of you earlier albums out on CD (fantastic)and are hoping you will release Its A Long Way There, Diamantina Cocktail, First Under The Wire and The Net the same. Is this likely. I particularly like the idea of the music in its original state. Hopefully then I will get the full version of Its A Long Way There without it being cut in half as it presently is on the Greatest Hits CD.
I still think First Under The Wire was your best album, the tone and musicianship of this album is great. Keep up the good work.

Allan

Just to let you know how much my husband & I enjoyed the Newcastle show - excellent ten out of ten.
We spotted Glenn at the Clarendon having dinner, but we left him in peace, but I really wanted to say how much we were looking forward to the show etc etc.
We were in the third row and when Glenn threw his baseball cap into the audience my husband heroically caught it for me - he left four quadriplegics in the audience & the Swans have offered him a contract. It was a magical evening. We have seen Glenn twice by himself at Phoenix and also Wests. We also saw Birtles Shorrock & Goble at the Workers Club last year. Last week was by far the best ever - great songs, as good as the old days if not better, so please do come back to Newcastle and after our rave to friends I am sure we can sell more tickets for you. We also bought the CD & I listened to in while I was at the beach today. I work at a legal firm & my boss is happy to send you a baseball cap after he saw how thrilled I was.
Thanks for a great night - music is good for the soul.
See ya next time.

Well what can I say we've had smiles on our face for over 24 hours. The concert in Newcastle was absolutley fabulous. We primed with LRB on the way down and hit the concert, listened in total amazement - I mean its been years and you guys were brilliant, fantastic line up - such a complete sound. Thanks for spending the time talking with us after three hours of solid performing - definately Australia's best! Great to see you all enjoying yourself. No sleep and the DVD had us dancing in the loungeroom which was all that we missed. The rationale for taking your music to the country (especially Port Macquarie) is that we don't get that kind of quality and in the country we are starved for it. Most of my Sydney friends relocated in the 80's so there's a good fan base out here. Take care and perfrom for a long time. To everyone else do yourself a favour -take the opportunity! Definately a red tag event!

I also very much enjoy the new softer songs of BSG.

If I could wish one thing than it would be that your voices command more volume rather than the instruments.

There are certain snapshots of life you distictively remember from childhood. These are times and feelings not experienced any more. Maybe it's middle age. I am looking forward to seeing the concert in Brisbane in early November (more so than some 'highly rated' international acts. Your Feedback:

What's needed is for Birtles,Shorrock & Goble to come to the U.S.A. Then, the fans will decide that you guys are the real thing, regardless of what the Australian courts may say. After all, the "Yes" fans decided that "Anderson, Bruford,Wakeman & Howe" were the "real Yes", before the band who "owned" the name could ever set foot onto a stage or release an album (they never did). On another note,I'll say, that I'm one of the very few people in my country with a modified "code-free" DVD player and multistandard television, and I COULD play your new Australian DVD, but I'd much rather that you do an NTSC export version, or better yet, license it to an American video company so we could buy the disc at a sane price. I'd also welcome a DVD of "Live Exposure", using the rare 100 minute version, instead of the more common 60 minute edit. The only-ever release that I know of for the 100 minute version was on a skip-prone (and mercifully short-lived) American needle and groove videodisc system "CED" in the early 1980's. Welcome back and good luck.

I still have very fond memories of my trip to Sydney and Melbourne and the friendships I gained with all of you and the band. I only wish I could be with you on this tour. I will eagerly await your visit to the States and look forward to 'leading the cheer', although I know it won't be necessary! Knock 'em dead on this tour! Beeb, I will look forward to seeing you when you get home.

All the best,

As a budding songwriter the inspiration that the songs of Birtles, Goble and Shorrock supply is endless. Getting to hear them performed live again with a backing band with such energy and life gives me so much passion for music and creation. I grew up on vinyl copies of After Hours and Sleeper Catcher from dad's LP collection and was amazed to hear Seine City and Days on the Road in the sets !!!

Congratulations Graeham, Glenn, Beeb, Jason, Dave, Simon, Dorian and Alex

I just got the DVD on Friday October 10th,it is unbelievable.I last saw the original LRB at the very first Festival of Sydney on New Years Eve 1975/1976, when you shared the bill with Kevin Borich Express.
Due to either economic or geographic reasons I have been unable to see the band since,I am making up for that come November 7th,in Sydney.
Best of luck for the future, & see you in November

BSG
Heard nothing but incredible things about your recent performances and the DVD. I'm waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. No one was more excited about your reunion than I.
I'm looking forward to hearing those incredible harmonies again doing the old classics, but I'm even more excited about hearing the new material. I'm sure I won't be disapointed. Also Beeb when you were here in Jeff City last year for a high school reunion, you were kind enough to drop me a note through a co-worker of mine and an aquintance
of your wife, Frank Hume. It meant a lot. Best wishes to
you Glenn and Graeham on your new endeavors and am looking forward to a new studio CD in the future.

I must congradulate you on the great album. Purchased today and still playing and will play for a long long time. I get goose bumps listening to it.
I waited 20 years to see you live at the Forum (worth the wait).I am 37 years and back in the early eighties, I had no friends who wanted to see you back in those days.
However, I have a friend who came along with me to the Forum. I now rate myself with those who were at Woodstock and the Greek Theatre to see a once in a life time event.
Glen, may remember us at the Noble Park RSL (my friend had a camera that blinded him with so many shots taken).
The best concert I have seen in years.
For me your reunion has been worthwhile for the fact that it has cheered up a middle aged man no end.
You are bloody amazing and have managed
to get better as time passes. You are the professionals professional.
I will be there at the Melbourne Concert Hall.
All the best for the future and I wish you all the success you deserve.
Keep plugging away.
Best wishes,
Tony.
